Wondering what a day with us looks like? Here’s a glimpse behind the scenes of a typical day during our photography workshops at FotoUmbria.com.

A day at Casa Susanne starts with a relaxed breakfast—fresh coffee and local pastries—while enjoying the morning light. It’s a nice, calm way to get ready for the day ahead.

After breakfast, we head out to explore some of Umbria’s quieter villages and hidden spots perfect for photography. The pace is easy, with plenty of time to try new things and get tips along the way.

Lunch is a chance to enjoy simple, tasty local food at a nearby trattoria, catching up and resting before the afternoon session.

Once back at the studio, we focus on editing and post-processing. This time is all about helping you improve your images and learn techniques that work for your style and experience level.

Evenings are for sharing meals together—sometimes we cook at Casa Susanne, other times we visit a local restaurant. It’s always a relaxed, friendly way to end the day.

If you’re up for it, there’s an optional night photography session where you can practice shooting under the stars. Or you can just relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
