Cinti was born in Scheggia in 1960. He still lives there and it was in Scheggia
that he began working as a photographer. In the 1980s he attended the Accademy
of Fine Arts in Perugia, obtaining a degree in stage and set design- and at the
same time learning the secrets of photography and graphic design. There he worked
on some successful pubblicity posters, although his main interest developed in
the direction of artistic photography. His first personal exhibition was part
of "Armageddon", an artistic and cultural event organised by "Norman e il Presidente"
which was reviewed on RAI 3. He collaborated with Professor Medini in the photographic
documentation for the publication "Dopo il catastrofe" ("After the Catastrophe").
In 1993 he held an exhibition called "Tra Fisica e Metafisica" ("Between Physics
and Metaphysics") in his home town. He participated in the exhibition of costumes
and settings based on the life of Jacopone of Todi held in the Rocca Paolina in
Perugia. This was organised by the students of the Accademy of Fine Arts "Pietro
Vannucci" in Perugia; his contribution was a slideshow. In Perugia he also organised
an exhibition in Via Cartolari, Perugia called "Art dans la Rue" ("Art in the
Street"), using particular photographic techniques such as the "rayogram" and
the overlaying of images- techniques used by artists such as Man Ray, Mohly Nagy,
Rodçenko and Veronesi. He won second prize in the Costacciaro national photographic
competition on the theme "Planet Childhood" and achieved a special mention in
the Tuoro competition on the theme "Between Past and Present". He organised an
exhibition on the theme "Park Landsapes- Weddings and Portraits" at the Parco
di Monte Cucco in Sigillo.
